Skipper Key hails Kent display

Kent captain Robert Key is hopeful that his side can seal a Lord's triumph after they won through to the Friends Provident Trophy final.

Kent beat Durham by 83 runs at the Riverside on Friday, with Key impressed by the performance of his side, who won the Twenty20 Cup last season.

He said: "You need things to go your way a little bit and hopefully at Lord's this year we can do it again.

"It's great to be there. What we realised last year was it was a brilliant effort to get there and it didn't really matter if we lost, but now we want that feeling of winning again.

"The most pleasing thing for me as skipper is that in all our big games so far this season, various players have stepped up and made some big performances for us."
