Lawson secures Lord's loan
Middlesex have signed Yorkshire leg-spinner Mark Lawson on a month's loan to cover for a number of injuries among the Lord's squad.
The 22-year-old has had to play second fiddle to Adil Rashid at Headingley and has not featured at all for the Tykes in the County Championship this season.
Middlesex chief executive, Vinny Codrington, told the county's official website: "A number of our bowlers are recovering from injuries and we felt it necessary to obtain additional cover.
"Mark impressed us two years ago at Scarborough and he will help us immediately by playing against the South Africans this Friday at Uxbridge.
"The club are very grateful to Stewart Regan and Martyn Moxon for their extremely kind and generous help and the speedy manner in which negotiations have been conducted."
